Born in Paris in 1972, Seth began expressing himself on the walls of his city in the mid-90s. His stomping ground was the 20th arrondissement, where he made a name for himself in the graffiti scene by painting characters.
After graduating from the École des Arts Décoratifs, Seth went on to work in advertising, animation and comics, but never ceased his work on the streets.
In 2003, he began traveling around the world, exchanging ideas with artists from different cultures. Drawing from experience, he published the book Globe Painter in 2007 and took part as author and presenter in the documentary series Les Nouveaux explorateurs broadcast on Canal +. The program takes viewers on a voyage of discovery through the prism of urban art.
Throughout his travels, Seth has developed a distinctive painting style based on the theme of childhood. His conviction: public space is not a place to teach lessons, but a place to question, to dream, to look beyond. Seth portrays children whose innocence often contrasts with the harshness of their environment. Their faces are rarely visible, allowing viewers to project their innermost selves. His vortexes serve as doorways to imaginary worlds.
